Community Life

Life at the Seminary

In the Sulpician tradition of priestly formation, faculty and seminarians form a single community in the seminary, the Sulpician concept of communauté educatrice.  On this level, the faculty seeks to form future priests by the collegial influence their personal and spiritual presence has on the seminarians.  The faculty’s daily pattern of living, praying, teaching and interacting with seminarians is an important formational resource which makes it possible to build a healthy seminary community based on mutual knowledge, trust and dialogue.
