- Luncheon Meal Accommodations during the summer – mid-May to August (lunch is the only meal available for purchase by outside guests): Visitors who schedule an appointment will be asked if they would like to purchase lunch. They will be advised that Archives staff must make arrangements for them at least one business day in advance of their visit, or if they would prefer to go off-site, the Archives staff can recommend several nearby eateries. An Archives staff member will accompany guests to the Dining Room for lunch and ensure that guests are familiar with the seating arrangements in the Dining Room. If an individual researcher does not make advance arrangements for lunch, the staff will inquire about their lunch plans as soon as possible upon their arrival. In the case of one or two researchers who wish to eat in the Dining Room, same-day accommodations can be made on a case-by-case basis. An Archives staff member will make arrangements with Food Service and St. Mary’s personnel as soon as they become aware of the need for this type of exception, but no later than 10:30 a.m.
